Neighbors Discussing Best security systems and cameras

Anyone have recommendations on security camera systems? Seems like a lot of options out there wired vs. Wireless, hard drive vs. Motion sensor, night vision, 4k, etc. I want to be able to see the eye color of ants crawling across the walkway, so something with great resolution.

1)     Our indoor ones with SimpliSafe are okay, but I think we plan to get outdoor ones with Ring

2)     We have an Arlo and the resolution is fantastic. They have a great deal on them at Costco.

3)     We just installed Ring cameras and we're very happy with them. The picture is super clear.

4)     Best feature is the two way talk and at night, to view the picture, I can press a button and the camera's light turns on. So far, we haven't been disappointed. I'd say that the install was pretty easy too, but I wasn't the one to install it. At least it looked easy lol
5)     That does look clear. Thanks for the reply.

6)     We have ring as well for inside and outside. Which is how I caught my dog 😑

7)     that is too funny!

8)     We have ring inside outside and window/door sensors

9)     Good information. My antique security camera will not connect with the internet here and have concluded I need to update. I am thinking the Ring however since technology has passed me up, I will probably have them installed by amazon group. Thanks for info.

10)  The ring stuff was super easy with the app to install. We got battery powered and have not had to recharge yet in 3 weeks. Had 1 camera we had to add a wifi extender to but again the app guided through it and was easy

11)  Ring is a great residential option. For anyone needing commercial camera system I'm a certified Axis Camera Specialist.
